LIQUID SCREED AND ANHYDRITE SCREED FOR FLOORING

Liquid screed has emerged as a viable flooring alternative to using traditional concrete. Expect to make significant savings in time and labour when working with this innovative material. Bettamix is your dependable source for the latest advances in surface materials throughout Northwest England.

Ideal for Under-Floor Heating

Liquid floor screed is so highly effective because the material flows freely after it is pumped, filling the gaps between pipes and forming a void-free finish. Floor screeding is an ideal technique for creating a surface on top of under-floor heating. Less effort is required to fill the gaps, resulting in fewer man-hours required to complete the job.

Supremely Energy Efficient

The efficiency of floor screed is achieved through the complete elimination of gaps and voids beneath the finished surface. Quite simply, the elimination of voids results in greater conductivity in the floor. Consequently, this enables heat to diffuse evenly throughout the screed and improve the energy efficiency of homes and offices.

Thinner for Rapid Heating

Liquid screed possesses properties that allows for the creation of a thinner layer than traditional screed. Science tells us that less material allows for quicker heating times. Rooms with under-floor heating and surfaced with liquid screed will reach their optimum temperatures quicker and more efficiently.

Highly Robust Material

Outside of under-floor heating applications, traditional screed is not as effective as the more innovative liquid version. Our liquid alternative to screed can be minimised to a thickness of 25mm. This is only achievable because liquid screed is far more robust, reaching strengths of 30N/mm2.

Variations for Different Purposes

Liquid floor screed offers a couple of variations, including self-levelling screed, calcium sulphate screed, and anhydrite screed. Depending on your particular project, we will recommend the most appropriate screed to meet your requirements. Get in touch and we can provide further advice.

Available in Northwest England

From our HQ in Bury, we can deliver our liquid floor screed service throughout Northwest England. All you need to do is give us at least 72 hours when placing your booking. You will have the option to ask us to deliver this as a pumping service. The advantage of pumping liquid screed is that the surface can be walked on in 24-48 hours and will dry without any cracks or blemishes forming.
